This is something that has always always always scared the crap out of me!
My children have been tested several times as we have always lived in an older home and I've done quite a bit of work on the house here and there.
FYI:
Children DO NOT have to "eat" paint in order to be poisoned!
It does have to get into the body though and it can be inhailed through dust or chemical vapors. It can be injested just by putting their hands in their mouths or eating contaminated foods. I pray our children will remain lead free, but there is nothing more powerful than educating yourself.
