High Falls: Obug's Debut !

The following is an original piece from my extremely talented daughter Obug.  She wanted me to put a few things on my blog that she has written.  She has quite a collection of work that she is proud of, and rightfully so, as they are quite impressive short stories, poetry, and prose.  Many were written just for herself  and some for school.  Remember she is only 10 years old!  If she is comfortable with the way this looks on line, I will set her up with her own blog.  I do hope she finds comfort and joy with this expressive online outlet, so she has a space of her own to interact with others with her writing too.  Please share your love and comment below to let her know what you think!  Thanks :)

This first one, I am linking to my Monday Memory Meme with the prompt, "I remember Blue...".

High Falls
by - Obug (9yrs old)

Blue rushing, roaring water splashes
little droplets on my face and hair.
The rapids splash and zoom across the rocks.
The water explodes down the high wall
of High Falls Waterfall.

As I look there's bumping where the water goes.
My ears are ringing with the beautiful melody of the waterfall.

Some places along the way are fast, some are slow.
I watch the water race down the wall
into the ravine.
